We visited 7/14/24 on a Sunday since it was Live Music Reggae Sunday 4-7pm. Loved the band from Brooklyn NY. They played a lot of amazing oldies. Excellent Ambiance. Spectacular service. Jackie was an amazing server. She Suggested drinks and food menu items. Everything was delicious. No rush service chill vibes. Water front property. We loved it. Haven’t stopped telling family and friends at work this morning about what great service/ambiance and our AMAZING SERVER. We will be back before summer ends. Thanks..

Casual atmosphere, lovely view, excellent food and service! Our group had Watermelon Martini, Lobster Bisque, Lobster Roll, Scallops, and Pené 82. Everyone raved about their meal. We shared Tiramisu and Cookies and Cream Gelato for dessert. Both were delicious. Great evening all around.

Met with a bunch of people at Drift 82, in Patchougue, for lunch.
My first visit there, as I had always ended up at the Oar, just because they had a band, or I was meeting friends there, kind of a default, Patchogue destination.
Im happy to say, the food here was outstanding, and will no longer default to the Oar.
Not one complaint from any of the 9 other people who Lunched with me.
The plates ranged from Steak tidbits, grilled chicken sandwiches, lamb chops, a caprese salad, blackened fish, a shrimp pasta dish, Mahi mahi tacos, and hamburgers
The portions were all very generous, especially the Mahi mahi tacos.
There was actually big hunks of the fish, in all 3 of the tacos.
The hamburger was good.. Not in my top teir, but still good..It was sirloin meat, so it had the requisite salty taste, which I enjoy.
It came to me more in the medium range, than medium rare, but it was still acceptable, and still had a juiciness to it.
The bun to meat ratio was fine. The cheese was a nice portion, so you could taste the creaminess of the cheese.
French fries were my favorite!!! Waffle fries!!!
Why more restaurants dont serve them, is beyond me..Kids like em, Adults like em, and even old farts like me like em😎 . They were very crispy, which I like..
It's in a very peaceful setting on the Patchogue River, in a nautically themed restaurant, with a very friendly staff.
There is both inside, and outside seating, as well as both an inside, and outside bar
The service was very good. Hope, our waitress, did a great job with any requests that came from the table, was quick, and very professional.
Parking was more than adequate, as it had a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant, as well as Valet parking.
I'm definitely returning here

Great location. Ellen super waitress. Made great suggestions and provided great service. Views of boats on busy river were beautiful. Seafood tower was very good except for the mussels. They were very soft and taste was not right. Calamari also did not taste right . Steak bits were very good. Was not a big fan of dumplings. Desserts the cheese cake was good. Food was very average service was great atmosphere was also great. Nice bar.in and out.
