By far the best guitar shop on Long Island. The prices are unbeatable, staff is super friendly and helpful, and the store is beautiful. Would highly recommend for setups and any type of gear, they have it all!

I've been to most of the local guitar shops and West Lake Music provided an excellent experience. I'm a novice player who has been on the look out for a Fender Strat with a specific color combo. I came across their shop randomly, and noticed the guitar I've had my eye on on their website.
The first time I stopped in, I tried the guitar and really liked it. After researching pricing that night, I came back (with approval from my wife) to pick it up. Before pulling the trigger, I wanted to really make sure I liked it. There was minor buzzing on two of the stings. They took it in the back, made adjustments, tuned the guitar and even set it up on a nice amp to get the tone perfected before letting me try it again. You just don't see that kind of attention to detail at some of the larger retailers!
I must have tried three other strats and a tele before making a final decision. The team at West Lake was very knowledgeable about the differences between a 2016 model and the newer models. Great selection of pedals, strings, amp, etc as well.
