Bird and Bao in Patchogue is truly exceptional! The service is outstanding, the food is delectable, and the ambiance is simply wonderful. My personal favorite is the Blackbird, while my husband is a big fan of the Patchog. The rice bowl is phenomenal—always fresh and of the highest quality. What an incredible vibe!

This could be the best food in Patchogue Village. Heck, at the moment it is! The food is simple, clean and rich with flavor. Service is friendly and attentive. They know what they’re doing here. Other larger establishments in Patchogue should really learn from this place. Simple acts such as greetings and saying goodbye/thank you are not overlooked. Solid experience. Go check them out.

I've spent over a decade working in hospitality at the corporate level, so I have a deep understanding of operations, including food costs, labor costs, and overhead. Running a restaurant is not a walk in the park.
Bird & Bao absolutely nails it. The ingredients are fresh, and the cleanliness is impeccable – you could eat off the dining room floors. The kitchen's stainless steel appliances shine so brightly that guests can see their reflections in the window from afar. The food is perfectly prepared with clean plating and a neat presentation.
The flavors are exceptional. You can taste every ingredient, and there's a delightful balance with unexpected pops of flavor that introduce your palate to new experiences.
In a town like Patchogue, which is filled with restaurants, Bird & Bao is a hidden gem that is seriously underrated.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Every bao is amazing, especially any of the chicken ones, smash burger, and smores. Bonus: the staff is super nice and attentive, and the place is spotless. Highly recommend for a quick bite if you’re in Patchogue.

First time ever having a bao bun, and that was the freshest buns I ever ate. They were delicious with huge pieces of chicken amd some delicious fixings and sauce. Also got the delicious Brussel sprouts.
