Trust really comes into play at Gene’s. He’s not only present but drove my car with me to see what the issue was. Didn’t feel overcharged or pressured into anything. Finally a trustworthy mechanic to return to. Fixed my car in a short amount of time too 🙂 but the amount of 5 star reviews speak for themselves

I brought my car in for an inspection and a check engine light. I had a very positive experience and everyone was able to answer all of my questions! They had a convenient after hours drop off and pick up option with a lock box. They text you a link to pay, and they also text you a full report after they diagnose your vehicle. Can’t say enough great things! I definitely will be back for all of my car needs.

Can’t say enough positive things about Gene's 112 . Gene is professional, thorough, and honest. Prices are fare, more importantly the quality of work performed was top notch and well worth the cost. I live several towns away from Patchogue and pass many shops along the way to get to Genes 112. I don’t mind the drive knowing my car will be repaired correctly and in a time frame I can work with. Thanks Gene the AC works great and car no longer is leaking fuel. I’ll see you in the near future for struts and shocks.

I have and old banger of a car, 2006 Hyundai, that I use for work. I just wanted an inspection. I knew about the fuel tank pressure sensor as I have my own reader. I told him about it. I know they don't make money with the inspection so I figured they could do make something off the sensor replacement with the inspection. Instead they write up a list of things they said needed to be done including the cabin air filter for a total of over $4000 . I said look all I want is state inspection not a complete rebuild. The car is only worth $1000. He said around $2000 in repairs to get it to pass. Again more than the car is worth and it runs fine and is steady and smooth even on the highway. So for $221.61 all I walked out of there with was they scraped my old inspection sticker off the window. Yes they were very polite and nice and all but I would never go there again. Complete rip off. The bank on the fact you know nothing about cars.

Way too over priced they quoted me double of what other mechanics charged and they put my truck back togeather wrong, dont let the act impress you with their uniforms or the false “free” estimate, i was told free estimate and instead they charged 100 and instead of saying to me sir we broke a clip they just gave me back the truck with broken parts for me too find, sooo gene your a crook and dont do goood bussines
