530 PM appointment I go straight from work and get there a little early at 515, signed in and waited until 615 as other people are being called up, after one leaves I hear the nurse and doctor talking like they're about to wrap up for the day so I popped up and said "you know I'm here, right?".
Nurse immediately got infuriated with me - "you need to let us know you're here". I told her I signed in, she looks at my name on the sign in sheet and says she didn't see it earlier.
This is fine, mistakes happen, she looked over my name. Who cares? I wasn't really in a rush its not a big deal that I had to wait.
Instead of apologizing or just calming down in general she stays very agitated with me. I asked what the problem is and she repeats "you have to speak up and tell people you're here, I told you I didn't see your name on the list" as if this is in any way shape or form my mistake, I signed in and sat down in the waiting room - I'm supposed to tell you as each patient in front of me leaves that I'm currently in your waiting room? I'm on the brink of absolutely losing my shit but one month earlier when I came in for the first time I had the same nurse and she was actually really great so I bit my tongue and went with a different nurse into an exam room who did actually apologize to me once we were out of earshot.
Worth mentioning, the doctor (DiCanio) is 5 feet away from us for this entire interaction at the front counter and says nothing to his staff or me and doesn't mention it later in the exam room, I'm assuming because he was also pissed off that he couldn't go home yet and I ruined his night by showing up for my scheduled appointment.
This was only my second time meeting this doctor, the first time he diagnosed me with high blood pressure and prescribed a medicine. He also took blood from me to test my liver and a few other things. He asked me the last time I ate and I told him 3 hours prior. He tells me the tests don't require fasting.
So we're going over the results from our first meeting at this appointment and he tells me he did a lipid panel which obviously requires fasting. Brilliant! Those results are mostly useless.
He doesn't once ask me about the medication he put me on last time and I forget to bring it up because I'm still so pissed about the experience I just had at his front desk and the blood panels he put through that all I could think of is how little I can trust an office like this. He keeps the door wide open when discussing my results, could not seem less interested in any of my questions and just gives off an aura of "I'm completely checked out".
Two days ago the medicine ran out and of course he never set up any refills for it.
I can't speak for any of the other doctors affiliated with or working out of this building but just avoid this guy and his staff.

Coming here is always fun. The staff is always welcoming and they actually build a relationship with you. I was very surprised the very first time the office manager Linda said my name randomly when i walked in for a physical therapy session. They make you feel at home and they really do there best to help you with any questions or concerns you have. Eddie the physical therapist is such a great person. He not only provides the physical therapy but entertainment as well. He will converse with you and all of his other patients which is nice. Most other places the PT guys are in a rush and treat you like a number. Dr Dicanio is awesome. He listens to concerns gives you recommendations and is on your side.

This place is one of the worst. whatever time your appointment is for, you'll wait an hour to get to an exam room. Anytime you call, and the receptionist takes a message you won't be called back. Also the other reviews must be by employees, or there friends.
