Villar NEEDS TO BE DISBARRED! She is the most unethical, immoral & bias towards the abusive parent. As she would like to say her client a.k.a. my 10-year-old at the time has completely disintegrated under her care and has had only had one sided conversations ex parte with my abusive, ex lawyer husband. Her client my child has now missed 182 days of middle school, is on Prozac, and highly obese now under her & the father’s care. I have fought to seek my child for therapeutic therapy sessions, as he has always been due to domestic violence from him witnessing me and his brother beaten and she has refused to give him the mental help. What kind of deviant lawyer does this? It’s all about the money, she needs to be disbarred immediately as she is a disgrace and an enabler to the abusive party as she knows.
She threatens you to take her negative reviews off but this is our 1st Amendment right. Blame yourself Karyn! everyone needs to report her and maybe finally we will have change in our courts! Shame of the Bar and judges for condoning this injustice!🥹

I've been through many family court lawyers over the years and honestly they've all been horrendous for the most part. They talked a big game but just carried about taking money from me. One would walk right by me in court and not say "Hi" to go socialise with other attorneys. My last one didn't even see me in person due to covid and charged twice+ for every email - to read and respond. He wouldn't talk to my daughters therapist and did literally nothing. I did more, personally.
I used Karyn for a child support matter and she was prompt, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Any questions I had she answered. She listened to my input and wants as well. She checked me in with the court officer - something most lawyers I guess felt they were too good to do.

Karyn Villar is an outstanding matrimonial attorney. She was instrumental in getting me a fair and just outcome for me and my children; not an easy task in a system where men tend to get the raw end of the deal. I have been through a few different attorney's to assist me with case that kept going nowhere. Karyn was highly recommended to me from a friend so I decided to make an appointment with her.
I figured she was going to be the same old money sucking family court attorney so I wasn't expecting anything much for her to say.
I am happy to report I was 100% wrong!
Karyn is very fairly priced, always looked out for my daughters needs as well as my family. I had to unfortunately go to trial see my daughter often.
I will tell you my feelings on family court as a male are not good ones. I feel we get over looked and the judgments tend to side towards the mother.
However with that being said Karyn did her job 110%! I have my daughter a true 50% of the time and sometimes the way the calendar falls more than 50% of the time.
I was never able to have school breaks, weekends longer than just Sat & Sun. I now have my daughter Friday 430pm until Monday morning school drop off. Which was huge for my family since we can now do weekend trips and not one day excursions. The stress of getting my daughter home on a certain time on Sunday is gone!
In just one years time the memories that were made with my daughter was worth every single penny paid to this amazing attorney.
After the trial was over and received my new visitation orders my ex filed an appeal with NYS Supreme Court. Again Karyn did her job and I won the appeal and nothing was touched of my new visitation orders.
I have sent Karyn a few other clients as well because that's how much I believe in this woman.
Please do not listen to anyone who says anything negative about this woman. She is a saint and without her my daughter and I wouldn't have the relationship we have today, as well as the relationship she has with her Step-Mother and her 2 brothers. I owe it all to Karyn.
