Ive been using Rick as my attorney since I started investing in real estate 13 years ago. I can say with confidence that he has looked out for my best interest since Ive been with him. He’s one of the biggest Real estate attorneys on the island and everyone knows him. He’s a good man to know and have by your side. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

DO NOT USE this lawyer or law firm. What a joke! Terrible communication!
I had to run around this morning trying to find the court in Hampton Bays only to be told that I was NOT supposed to be in court this morning! They didn’t even notify me of date changed…I called Richard Cohen and told him what was happening. He was “All ears” until I told him I have another lawyer and that we are suing for Medical bills, Loss of work and pain and suffering due to landlords neglecting the ENTIRE water system. The well had Total Coliform bacteria in it.(And possibly more contaminants ie Fertilizers and pesticides.) I saw 9 different doctors and was hospitalized twice! After speaking with Richard personally, I would never call or speak to him again…Do yourself a favor and hire a professional lawyer..Steer clear…

I used Richard Cohen’s office for my closing. He provided a level of service and professionalism that is second to none. By the time I got to the closing table Rick had checked and double checked everything to insure a smooth and stress free transaction. His office staff was friendly and great to work with. I received prompt replies to my inquiries via phone and email. I would highly recommend him to anyone requiring legal services.
