James and the team have serviced my bikes for the past 10+ years. They have always done a great job- fair pricing and great service. Modern bikes and older classic rides- they take on challenging projects and make them run again! They always stand behind their work! I recommend them to anyone in need.

Jim and his team brought my 2016 K1200R and 1964 R69S back to life.
His mechanical knowledge and attention to details ensures the highest quality of repair and service. Additionally, Jim is truly a pleasure to deal with, always keeping me informed throughout the entire repair process. He is definitely the best in the business.

I brought my 83’ Suzuki 1100 in to Second Wind for what I thought were issues I couldn’t resolve with the carburetors. They not only diagnosed, rebuilt and tuned the carbs, they also identified and corrected a couple of ignition and charging system issues that I was unaware of. Bob kept me abreast of all issues via text and asked for my approval before ordering any parts or charging for additional labor. These guys are knowledgeable, fair and most importantly great communicators. I highly recommend Bob and the Second Wind team!!!

BEWARE
Summary: James Dubarry was operating as an unlicensed repair shop in NY and tried to take advantage of a grieving family by retaining my brother's motorcycle after his accident and death. Mr.Dubarry charged an absurd storage fee, postured in an effort to take possession of the motorcycle for himself through a mechanic's lien, and forced me to pursue legal action, get law enforcement presence at his house to negotiate, as well as report him to NYS DMV. In the end, I still had to pay a portion of the storage fees to regain my brother's property. There are not enough negative things I can say about this person or his business, and my sincere hope is that this review stands out as a potential warning to others on how this man conducts business.
Bit of a back story. After my brother's accident and eventual death, I eventually located his motorcycle at Mr.Dubarry's home garage and expressed that I was not interested in repairs and simply wanted to reclaim bike as to not incur additional storage charges until the situation with my brother's estate is settled. Despite fully explaining the situation with my Brother's passing and even agreeing to pay inflated storage fees, James still threatened to file for a Mechanic's Lien in an effort to claim the motorcycle as property of his own. Additionally, Mr.Dubarry would not provide a proper itemized quote, and would only accept cash or postal money order in an effort to hide any
evidence of a transaction. Thankfully, DMV was able to regain some of the absurd storage fees he charged, and with police involved I was able to regain my brother's bike to eventually restore it myself.
There is no rebuttal for this man as I have pages of evidence of the transactions and audio transcripts to accompany this feedback.
