For our sons 21st birthday, we came here for drinks and a bite to eat. The food was delicious. Shannon gave us the best service. The music was great and played at the perfect volume. You could enjoy it and still have a good conversation without having to raise my voice. Every time I come with either my entire family or a night out with my husband, we are never disappointed.

Came with a group here for a friend's 21st birthday, excited to celebrate and buy plenty of drinks. However, we were then quickly denied service at the bar because we looked too young, as the bartender told us "you guys are definitely not 21," refusing to provide service to our group. We would have gladly all pulled out our ID's to confirm we were all at least 21. However, the bartender did not even ask a single one of us for some ID. What was supposed to be a night of celebration quickly turned into feelings of frustration and disappointment. We expected better from a location with decent reviews. I guess I gotta wait 5 more years until I can get a shot at getting drinks at this place.

Went last night on my cousins reclamation . Everything was Awesome . Every appetizer was delicious , especially the steak tidbits . The Buffalo wings were top shelf , the dinners wer better and bigger than expected . The service was impeccable . We will be back .

The food was good. It was after lunch, and it was still busy, which is a good thing. I had a custom sanchwich, and it was great. I met a few veterans, especially Marine Veterans. It was a good talk. Not the best photos best I was hungry 😁 and taste was satisfying.

We were in the area for a weekend long lacrosse tournament being held at Stony Brook University (NLF). When we travel for lacrosse, we enjoy supporting local businesses. The night before we dined at Karvers Grille and had an excellent experience. This time we were looking for more of a local sports bar feel. I knew businesses were busy with the area hosting a large lacrosse and baseball tournament.
I called in advance to see the wait for a party of (3). The female who picked up the phone mentioned there was no wait, we headed right there. Once we walked in, we were met moments later by what appeared to be the hostess. When she turned the corner and saw us, she appeared to be in shock. I asked for a table for (3) for my husband, our 17-year-old son who was still wearing his lacrosse jersey and shorts, and myself. The woman quick responded that the kitchen was closed. Her response caught us off guard because the bar was crowded, there were people dining at the back tables, and it was a Saturday night. I kind of knew why she said that however, I did not want to assume. We just left and headed somewhere else to dine.
The next day (Sunday) I called, a man answered, I mentioned I was new to the area and asked what time their kitchen closes daily. He said 11pm daily even on Sundays. We were in a hurry after our son's game to eat and get back to our hotel that we never read the reviews. After reading the Google reviews, it appears they frequently refuse to serve customers. Now I know why there was no wait, this establishment picks and chooses who to serve. I feel as though we were discriminated against because the color of our skin. We did not question why others were dining, or why on a Saturday night was their kitchen closed just after 7:30 pm because no need to spend our money in a business that does not want it or does not see our family equally to others. If we are ever in the Long Island area, we will never even drive past this place. I advise the same for others. I wish this business could get a 0 and could get flagged for discriminatory business practices.
